SP2: Method and model development

We will focus on adapting existing methods and developing new ones, to overcome identified limitations from Sp1. In addition, we will develop methods that can capture change as defined by our Humanities and Social Science projects.

A large focus will be on synchronic variation as a complement to diachronic change, as this is a largely under-researched area. We will base this on our work on sense-aware models, and on the comparison across contemporary corpora.
